Global Business Policy CouncilThe Global Business Policy Council was formed in 1992 to provide an early warning system against the accelerating shifts in economics, politics, technology, demographics, and culture that were poised to shape and shake the global business environment. Membership is limited to a select group of corporate leaders and their companies who, joined by a small group of world-renowned policy makers, scholars, and other thought leaders, provide significant insights into the world's direction and what this means for their businesses. The Council produces the FDI Confidence Index TM and regional FDI Confidence Audits, which analyze the drivers that influence foreign direct investment flows. Members may also draw upon a suite of focused consulting services and intellectual capital. The Global Business Diagnostic assesses vulnerabilities and new opportunities in globalization strategies. The Market Attractiveness Profiling System (MAPS) identifies promising markets for expansion, and the Guided Planning through Scenarios (GPS) helps prepare robust strategies for long-term growth.
